Inclusive Practice
At Ladywood School, we are committed to fostering an inclusive educational environment that supports the wide needs of all of our children and of children and families in the wider community.

Our approach includes:
-
Professional Visits: We actively engage in sharing best practice through professional visits, facilitating collaborative learning and the exchange of innovative strategies to support children with SEND in mainstream and specialist settings.
-
Specialist Training and Resources: We are involved in national networking and a number of staff facilitate SEND training programs, as well as National Professional Qualifications (NPQ), which enhances the educational experience of children with special educational needs, locally, regionally and nationally.
-
Schemes of Work and Assessment Tools: Ladywood has developed the Ladywood SEND Schemes of Work and Assessment Tools, which are available to mainstream colleagues to support children in individual settings, to ensure that they are following a highly individualised curriculum to support their progress.
-
Community Engagement and In-reach: We collaborate with external agencies and community organisations to enhance our inclusive practices, ensuring a strong enrichment approach to education that extends beyond the classroom.
-

Through these initiatives, Ladywood School strives to create an educational setting where every student has the opportunity to succeed and thrive.
